Yes, now I’m officially out of specific RotG related ideas, I was saving this one up for today.

PHEW okay, here we go: I was secret Santa for ceruleancontessa!

She gave me all sorts of things she liked, like Chelley, Rick, GLaDOS, turrets… so I decided to incorporate a whole bunch of them in one thing and this is what I came up with!
Wheatley and Rick decide to try and win Chell’s affections with a choir of turrets.

So… then this happened. Because it made sense that Pitch would have some other connection with Jack when he tried to get Jack join him, and the opening lines could be tied to this. Also totally inspired by (especially the last lines are almost direct quotes) the awesome fanfic by http://sarahdoesfandom.tumblr.com (http://sarahdoesfandom.tumblr.com/post/37890573316/title-cold-and-dark-rise-of-the-guardians) which I guess makes this fanart of a fanfic that was about a fanart… yeah lets not even try to make sense of that.

Anyway, I used about half an hour/hour per page and it shows but I still like some of the things I tried. I’m not saying that grayscale comics look bad, but I have a hard time getting grayscale look like I want (which is why I often use textures or screentones) but with this I just went with it. Jack is still totally off-model. Damn his hair, how can it be so tricky?
